1. Overview & Philosophy
Sobremesa Labs respects your privacy. We build static-first web platforms and edge architectures designed to minimize personal data retention.
2. Information Collection
When you submit a contact inquiry or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect only the information you explicitly provide (e.g. name, email address, message content). This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser information to measure visits. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
3. Bot Prevention & Security
Our submission forms utilize Cloudflare Turnstile to verify human interactions without tracking users across third-party websites or utilizing invasive browser cookies.
4. Sobremesa Reservations & Text Messages
When you request a table through a partner restaurant's booking form, Sobremesa Reservations collects your name, email address, mobile phone number, party size, requested date and time, any notes you add, and your IP address, which we use to block abuse such as repeated automated requests. If you check the box to receive text messages, we also record proof of that consent: the date and time, your IP address, your browser's user agent, the website where you gave it, and the version of the consent wording you saw.
We use this information only to handle your reservation request, to send the reservation messages you agreed to, and to prevent fraud. The partner restaurant you booked with receives your reservation details, including your phone number, only to seat you and contact you about that reservation, and may not use them for marketing.
Service providers process this information only to run the service: Cloudflare hosts the booking service and verifies that requests come from people (Turnstile), and Twilio delivers text messages. The booking form loads fonts from Google Fonts and the Cloudflare Turnstile check, which receive your IP address and browser information when the form loads.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared or sold to any third parties, affiliates, or lead generators.
Message frequency varies by reservation, usually 2 to 4 messages. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. We keep records of SMS consent and opt-out for at least four years so we can show when you agreed to or stopped receiving texts. Your reservation page link lets anyone who has it view and cancel the reservation, so do not share it. See our SMS Terms.
